No — Hellix isn’t listed as a free font. Displaay Type Foundry releases it, so licence options and pricing sit on their site.
Hellix is a sans-serif typeface from Displaay Type Foundry.
Start with Displaay Type Foundry’s other releases — Saans, Roobert, Season Sans, and Haffer. They come from the same studio that drew Hellix, and A1 has 48 websites using them.
Hellix is a mono-linear geometrical sans-serif font family. It was designed during an internship at the Type Design and Typography Studio at UMPRUM in Prague. At that time I fell in love with Paul Renner’s first sketch of Futura and I also explored stylistic sets, so I added a lot of strict and cold alternatives (“a, g, m, n, r, t, etc.”). I enjoyed having the possibility to create tensions between circular and square shapes. You will also find less geometrically based alternatives.
A1 features 1 website using Hellix. It leans towards Animated, Fun, and Colourful design styles, and it’s most often built with Webflow.
