No — Avantt isn’t listed as a free font. Displaay Type Foundry releases it, so licence options and pricing sit on their site.
Avantt is a sans-serif typeface from Displaay Type Foundry.
Start with Displaay Type Foundry’s other releases — Saans, Roobert, Season Sans, and Matter. They come from the same studio that drew Avantt, and A1 has 49 websites using them.
Avantt was initially created as a bespoke typeface for the signage and brand at Bubenská 1, a newly reconstructed office building in Prague. Architects, Adolf Benš and Josef Kříž, designed this building in a functionalist style between 1927 and 1935. This typeface takes inspiration from architectural principles and historical sources, such as the works of Ladislav Sutnar, Adolf Loos, and the Bauhaus movement. Avantt, the new retail version, slightly differs from the bespoke original, but still has the essential character.
A1 features 2 websites using Avantt, including Firsty and Jasper. They lean towards Sans-serif, Neon, and Slab serif design styles, and they’re most often built with Next.js and Webflow.
