Relative is a type family of two halves — a proportional set of weights from Book to Black (including Italics), and fixed-width pitched versions that are abridged by a ‘faux’ monospace cut. This ‘Faux’ cut takes the restrictions of a monospace typeface, and subverts them into aesthetic traits (notably, see the ‘i’ and ‘l’), allowing the typeface to be spaced proportionally and retain some of the sensibility of its fixed-width cousins.
